FAQ
GroveCrawl is a new, neighborhood-wide experience organized and activated by business owners in the Grove! Designed to encourage guests to explore the whole district, the Crawl is open to all businesses and spans from one Grove sign to the other. Crawlers will discover new favorite shops and bars, stumble upon street performances, and enjoy discounted beverages from our sponsors. Eat diverse flavors, party with your friends, tip a drag queen, buy local, and dance in the daylight. Get your Grove on.
HOW DO I GET TICKETS?
Presale tickets are available here for $8. Tickets can also be purchased on the day of the event for $10. Either way, Crawlers should check in at one of two designated booths to get their GroveCrawl credentials: East at Talmage & Manchester or West (Newstead & Manchester). These locations are noted on the GroveCrawl map .
How do I get around?
The Grove is very walkable, so we encourage you to stroll from one sign to the other; all the better to see the neighborhood’s gorgeous murals! However, we’re providing hop on, hop off transportation (barcycles and trolleys) to zip you from one end of the neighborhood to the other. Rides are included with your GroveCrawl ticket.
what about UCBC oktoberfest?
Make OktoberFest one of your stops! OktoberFest is a multi-day traditional Bavarian-style street festival held annually at Urban Chestnut’s Grove Brewery & Bierhall. GroveCrawl is hosted in collaboration with Urban Chestnut's Oktoberfest.
WHAT's included?
Your GroveCrawl ticket includes:
-
A commemorative mug
-
Steep discounts on drinks from our sponsors
-
The GroveCrawl passport containing entertainment schedules & exclusive discounts at participating merchants
-
Neighborhood transportation via trolley and barcycle
-
No cover access to all the Grove’s premier nightclubs all night!
WHAT happened to grovefest?
For the past 20 years, GroveFest celebrated the growth of a beautiful neighborhood and premier STL entertainment district. While GroveFest is on pause for now, the inaugural GroveCrawl renews focus on the neighborhood's merchants, artists, and local entertainers, inviting Crawlers to experience the Grove as a truly walkable complete entertainment district.
